Moving On Slowly Like My Old Dog Used to Climb the Stairs
Yep I should be moving on, I suppose. And I am. I finally put Olivia's dog food and water bowl up the other day. And absolutely having my brother here with us for Christmas following Livy's passing, has made me laugh and carry-on with life. Driving around Florida waiting for a warm sunny day when we can roll down the convertible top of my antique car that is finally working, makes me feel. Feel the wind whipping my curls every which way and the heat of the sun warming my cheeks. Lifting weights and working up a sweat on the elliptical machine at Planet Fitness while avoiding Covid and/or the flu in Florida makes me feel life pulsing through my veins and helps balancing the massive calorie load of handfuls of Cheez-Its and Spicy Nacho Doritos that make their way to my mouth. Watching fantastic movies like Avatar the Last Airbender (which made me cry) or the latest Jurassic Park romp with the Dinos, launches my mind into imaging, hoping and dreaming about another pla
