Ian

So, this is the canal that borders our home in Cape Coral, Florida which I am sure doesn't look like that now as Ian barrels down. It's strange owning two homes, living two different lives.  I am fortunate and I know it but it's still an odd lifestyle.  I am a homebody and feel all in in Maine.  When in Florida it's a different scenario and I am a bit ungrounded.  The weather is beautiful but there are too many old people.  My brother used to call it God's Waiting Room, which it sort of is.  Maybe I haven't found the perfect match between Florida town and me which is likely true. I am probably more of a Miami girl.  But for new we own this home and are hoping it holds up to Ian, the category 4, maybe 5 hurricane harassing the southwest U.S. in the coming days.  Praying for those who's lives are affected.
